Microsoft Windows Phone Facebook Update

Microsoft recently launched a Beta program for the new Facebook app for Windows Phone 8 and the app has received a few updates along the way. Now, it appears that Microsoft has rolled out another update for the app, making it much faster than before.

For those who are unaware, the new Facebook app for Windows Phone features a major redesign and has implemented several user-requested features. Those features include support for high-res photos, post sharing, and Facebook Timeline.

While there is currently no changelog for this update, the app build number has been bumped to 5.0.1.3 and appears to be much faster than before. Of course, there has to be some bug fixes in the update as well. Update your app if you have it installed and let us know if you notice any differences.

Rayman Jungle Run is now available on Windows Phone 8.

The endless running platformer launched latein 2012 and is also available for iOS and Android. Since its launch it has received frequent free updates adding new levels and characters.

Rayman Jungle Run will feature in the Windows Phone Store as part of the Xbox Live series of titles. The game has been downloaded more than 2 million times across both iOS and Android platforms.

The game is currently US$2.99.

In other Rayman news, Rayman Legends was recently confirmed for a PS Vita release. Initially a Wii U exclusive, the title will also release for PS3 and Xbox 360 in September.

A Rayman Challenge mode has been released exclusively for Wii U.
